Defective Bikes

I bought a bicycle on the 23rd December 2021 and when my daughter rode it for the first time, some pieces broke. I sent it back to the store and they say they cannot exchange it or give a refund, but will send it for repairs. I told them that the bike was less than 14days purchased and therefore I would like an exchange or refund. They refused. I have lodged a complaint with their customer care and they haven't helped at all.
