Debit order went through while account has been settled and closed

If possible I wouldn't give them any star. I settled and closed my game account on 29th of November 2024 but a debit order went through on the 1st of December 2024. After spending so long on the phone trying to speak to the consultant i'm told that the refund will be processed in 14 days, how do you debit after the account was closed? That doesn't make sense at all.
