I purchased a table tennis table from Game on 09th December 2021 and received my delivery on the 17th December 2021. The box was half open and tatty, when delivered, which was the first immediate sign that something was wrong. I went on to open the package, read the instructions and begin assembly of the table with all the parts. I laid large blankets on the tiles, so as not to scratch the surface while putting the table together and I noticed a large cracked area under the table, only after putting three-quarters of the parts together, but the crack was not through to the top and surmised that may not have any effect on the rest of the table, so I resumed with the rest of the assembly. Once together and upright I noticed that that crack caused isolated dings on the top surface, which would certainly affect the bounce of the ball when played. So I took pictures and emailed Game, to highlight the fault and then phoned the customer services straight away. I asked customer services to please send a courier to come and collect the faulty table and refund the money as I do not wish to go through this endeavor again. They advised me to send an email to customer services and await a response from them, and that there was nothing they can do on their side.
I have not heard back from customer services, not even an automated response, and possibly will never hear back from them. Their customer after-sales service is shocking, to say the least. Don't buy anything from Game online, they don't have the capacity to deal with issues arising from faulty stock or deliveries and refunds. You will be stuck with the item.
