Complaint Regarding Poor Treatment at Game Bloemfontein

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the unacceptable treatment my family and I received at your Bloemfontein branch on Saturday, 13 September.

We purchased items to the value of around R800, and everything was paid in full. However, upon leaving the store, your security accused us—in front of my wife and son—of *****ing a light bulb. This accusation was deeply insulting, humiliating, and completely unfounded.

The manner in which your security and staff handled the matter was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was forced to unpack all our purchases to prove that nothing was ******. In frustration, I demanded a refund for everything we had bought, as the experience ruined any trust I may have had in shopping at Game.

I can assure you that, after this incident, Game will not see me as a customer again. I expect a formal apology from your store for the way my family and I were treated.

After raising an issue, I was contacted by your call centre and informed that the store manager from Bloemfontein would call me back. Instead, to my surprise, I received a call from Game Kimberley and not from the Bloemfontein store. This clearly shows that the poor service I initially complained about is continuing.

I am very disappointed with the lack of accountability and professionalism shown. No Game store will ever see me or my family again.
