COMPLAINT AGAINST GAME LIBERTY MALL - Damaged Display TV without packaging

Dear HelloPeter Team,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Game Liberty mall, regarding a recent purchase that was both misleading and unacceptable in terms of customer service and product condition.

On 16th September 2025, I purchased a display television from Game Liberty Mall together with a fridge and washing machine. All items paid in full. While I was made aware that the unit was from the display and not that the display unit would be second hand I was not informed that it would be delivered without any packaging or protective materials, nor was I advised that it could be in a damaged condition.Had I been advised I would have taken another television. After I signed the dispatch receipt I asked the sakes rep Sbu if I could go to the back where the appliances are being loaded he ran to check with the back and returned saying I cannot and that I should use the front entrance.

I was expecting a unit in good condition with proper packaging, especially since I was charged the full retail price. Upon delivery, the TV arrived:

Without a box in bubble wrapped with a cardboard paper and no protective wrapping ....Damaged..

And without any prior warning or consent regarding its condition I immediately raised the issue with the store and have been waiting since 17 September for a proper response. After week of follow-up, I was finally told today that “there is nothing the supplier can do” and they will investigate the sales rep – which I find completely unacceptable and a violation of my rights as a consumer.

I paid for a product that was not delivered as described, and the lack of transparency around the condition and packaging is deeply concerning. I am now urgently requesting a full refund, and I ask that HelloPeter assist in escalating this matter.

I trust that this matter will be treated with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.
