Complaint about Ryobi products.

In March 2019 bought trimmer and the Ryobi chainsaw at Game stores in Festival Mall where I paid about R3200.00 for both machines. The chainsaw did not want to start after it was used only for 3 times and I would end up not using it at all. I later returned it back to Game for it to be returned back Ryobi (manufacturer). The policy at Game states that they take 21 days to fix a product that is under guarantee. After enquiring several times, I was told that I have to pay R400 for the repairs. I contested that since the chainsaw gave problems after it was used only 3 times. They said that we did not mix its fuel properly, which was actually not true and I contested that. After some weeks I received an sms notifying me that the chainsaw was ready for collection. When I got there I was told that the chainsaw has not been repaired since I did'nt pay the R400 for repairs. I demanded that the chainsaw be sent back to the supplier because the mixture that we used was done properly. Now I have received an invoice that is saying the chainsaw was broken when I returned it. I would like to get help to have my chainsaw repaired as I believe that its not fair. Secondly I was warned by other people who bought a Ryobi trimmer from Game stores in Mthatha and had the same problem. They told me not to buy a Ryobi product but I could'nt believe that it would still happen to me as well. I once attended the Diva's cupboard workshop in 2017 here in Johannesburg where we used tools and I was told the same problem with Ryobi products. I think that its not fair that we complain about this while the products are sold in every shop.
