CHECK YOUR SLIPS!!!

I bought a lot of items today and because of previous bad experiences, I write the prices of each item down. After the cashier rang up the sale, i noticed a HUGE OVERCHARGE of R143.90 on 7 items, the biggest being R20 more for cheese. <br> <br> Most people might not check their slips, those who do notice the overcharge might not return for a refund of R5. Which could mean that if 4 million households get overcharged R5 of the shelf price, a retailer would make a WHOPPING R20 million on overcharges alone per year!!<br> <br> I spent almost an hour having to get my refund of R143.90 and got the usual response of it being the systems fault that the overcharges occurred. No apology, no offer to reduce my time of having to wait in even more queues to get MY money refunded. <br> <br> People please CHECK YOUR SLIPS!<br> <br>
