*****! *****! *****!. Received a game gift Card with a Value of R2000 as a wedding gift in July of 2021. After my wife and I decided on a home appliance we went to buy it in May 2023. Only to find A balance of R0. We then find out that Game had devalued the gift card 6months after purchase, for no reason. The store manager then revealed that we are not the 1st people this has happened too. They then said they can't give us the value of the card as Head office needs to authorize it. We then left the store empty handed and R2000 short. It's a disgrace as my family put that money together to gift it to us as a wedding gift and Game has stole the money with no recourse. The T&Cs on their gift cards say that the card is valid for 3full years.
