We bought a Bad Girl - Layla bike for our 6yr old girl. She got on the bike last week and started riding, the paddle broke. It did not loosen, it did not detach, it broke skew and cannot be fixed. To our dismay and a sad child, she cannot use her gift.

We frantically looked for the slip and could not find it. I called Game Bayside and they told me that it is up to the manager to decide whether they will exchange it without the slip.I explained the situation to the woman (floor manager), who could not have been less interested. She told me that without the slip there is nothing we can do,I must see if there is any proof. Maybe one of the guys can just put on another paddle.Really?

In the meantime I found the slip.

My issue is that with some products Game is brand specific, and I have not seen this brand of bike anywhere else. So why would they not exchange the bike for a new one? It is clearly a factory fault and was sold at THAT store! I did not GET the bike for FREE, it was paid for with hard earned money! What else is wrong with the bike? What is Game going to do about the situation.

With this kind of terrible service I'm better off buying at Makro or another store in future
