Broken and previously returned Samsung TV sold as brand new by Game

Game (Shelly Beach KZN, salesman Dennis), sold us a SAMSUNG 65” QLED TV yesterday (19th Dec 1025) that had previously been opened and RETURNED to the store, a fact that Game did not disclose. We noted Game tape and an X on the top of the box, when we opened it at home, but didn’t realize the significance until we found that the screen was chipped and cracked. The kaylite packaging was also broken where the chip is. This is when we realized that the X and the Game tape signified that the TV had been RETURNED to Game previously!! On attempting to return the TV to Game today, they (Dennis) acknowledged that the kaylite was broken previously when we collected it from Despatch yesterday, and strangely, this unit didn’t reflect as ‘in stock’ yesterday. They say that they cannot accept it back, as the unit needs to be assessed by a Samsung agent AND that, that unit was the last one that they’d miraculously found. These shockingly devious sales people at Game, sold us a TV that must’ve been returned to them on a previous occasion!!!
