Bought a stock that is not available

On the 07 March 2017 I purchased a Samsung 15kg washing machine for R5999.00 at Game Johannesburg CBD branch, before the sale, I asked the sales guy GABRIEL MODIKWE what will happen to my stock as I will not be able to collect as I was going away for business, he said they can deliver which I refused as no one would have been home and he said that the stock will be kept at the and I can collect it at any time when I return. My mind was then at ease and I proceeded with the purchase. I came back from the business trick on the 2nd of June 2017 Friday, on Monday 05/06/2017 I went to the factory to collect the machine to my surprise that there was NO machine and NO stock, I was told to go back to the store and take something else ( like really I needed a washing machine not something else ) well the lady at the factory called the Game Johannesburg store and made me speak to the sales Manager MAFIKA NHLAPHO at the shop, He told me that he would have given me a display washing machine but It was sold out too and he suggested that I come to the store and get a refund, all Mafika could do was to apologise for the inconvenience and there was no other alternatives or even look from other branches if they have the stock. I was only advised to come to the shop and get a refund. I wasted my patrol going to the factory and also had to take unpaid hours from work to collect the machine and all I got was apology from the factory and from Mafika. This is so disappointing especially All I needed was 15KG Samsung washing machine
