Bought a fridge there for my brother on 8 August and the freezer is not working

Bought a freezer on 8 August 2017 at game in Mall of Africa for my brother and was told it would be delivered on 9 August 2017 and was only delivered on 12 August 2017. On 28 August 2017 when he came back from work the freezer had stopped working. Yesterday we went to let them know. Eric the manager on duty at the time told us that they should have told us that if this happens we should call defy and defy will sort it out. We bought the fridge at Game we had an agreement with Game not Defy and were not told this when we bought it. Had we known we would have went elsewhere. It hasn't even been a month and now the food is rotten and money is wasted. They refuse to replace it Eric told us over his dead body will that happen. Who pays for the damages that we have incurred now? The service is terrible there and I'm never buying anything at Game ever.
