Beware of buying a TV on promo from Game, could be discontinued stock they getting rid of

I'm not shocked at the pages of reviews for Game!!! I bought a 40" LED Telefinken TV for my boys with the little money their dad had left when he passed away. Thinking I was buying a good make from many years back I was so happy. A year later it packed up. Took it in on 3/10. Phoned yesterday to find out how much longer we must sit without a TV. I was phoned back to say they'll refund me and I can buy another TV. I asked what about the price and was told if I take the same one no problem. We jumped into the car and went to get our new TV. There we were told its discontinued and nobody has any stock. She tried for about 10 mins to get hold of the Manager. This was about 6.30pm with almost nobody in the store!!! The Managers on leave so the Admin Manager came. She said they sometimes discount lines to get rid of stock for updated technology. Our TV is NOT outdated!!! I said I dont have a cent to pay in on another TV and why should I lose out because they discontinued my TV less than a year later. Shrugged her shoulders. How would she feel in my shoes? Shrugged het shoulders!! Then she said if I dont have money I must downgrade. Really???? Who does she think she is??? We'd just upgraded from a 72cm box TV now because of Game we must downgrade to a 32" because thats all I can afford now!!!! Sorry I refuse. I was told our TV hasnt even been collected yet as the supplier has a backlog. What does that tell you?? She said I can go to HO I'll be told the same thing. Her attitude of shrugging her shoulders at me is a disgrace. She said I'm not losing anything. I do NOT have a R1000 to pay in, I cant even survive every month. I also took out an extended warranty but wasnt warned the product would be discontinued.
