Being ******
Kindly note that I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy A05 valued at R2199 from Game Pavillion on the 07.09.2025.
On the 18.08.2025 the phone was not charging and I had called in and spoke to Simone from the cellphone department who informed me that I will have to bring in the phone as it is still under guarantee and will have to be sent in for repairs which will take upto 12 days. I was also informed that there is no fees due and was even given a repair agreement from stating 0 payment.
The entire week of the 25.08.205 I had tried calling customer care on both numbers *** and *** as well as centre management at Pavillion who also took my contact details on two occasions and gave it to Customer services who to date have not returned the call.
I had went to the store on the 30.08.2025 as I was unable to get a hold of anyone. At customer service they informed me that I needed to pay R800 which I felt was ridiculous and was a shock as the phone was under guarantee and was in a very good condition, and was of no fault of mine damaged. I felt that I was being ****** and that thethey were being very ridiculous as I have showed them the guarantee slip which states I have cover and requested for the manager Vishaal who told me that he will look into this and get back to me. He called me on the 01.09.205 and informed me that they have reduced the fee to R700 which I still feel that if it is under guarantee and I will not pay that. The phone did not even fall or no water damage. It is quite ridicule that I physically damaged the charging port as they claim that is the problem with the phone as all we do is just put in the charger and the phone charges.
What is the point of having a guarantee if we are going to be ****** by such a big store like GAME. Vishal had asked me to log a call with complaints if I am still unhappy. I would like that you look into this and I am also going to take this up with Hello Peter as this is such a waste of my time that I have to be sitting on the phone to get a hold of someone and waste my time and petrol just to find out what is happening as well as being without a phone for so long. I am being ********** as this phone is only worth R2100 and I must pay R800 which is almost half the price of a phone when it is still under guarantee. Manager phone me now to tell me I must pay 110 to release the phone without being fixed
