bad service received from accounts/credit department

on the 24 November i saw on game deals for black Friday a fridge i wanted to buy however could not get apply for credit on the day as it was already full in store. on Sunday 26 November i received an email for cyber Monday deals i was happy to see that the fridge i wanted will be on sale again, i quickly rushed to game store in Johannesburg CBD to apply for credit,the gentle man offered to assist me to apply online and said it will be quick, i had all my documents with me he scan and submitted to the relevant department and said within couple of hours i will receive an sms,Monday 27 in the morning no sms i went again in store they provided me with the phone contacted the ppl who are processing the application it was around 12 the agent on the phone said my application was on the final stage i should receive the call after 1:30 , i phone back again at 14:00 i was then told the same thing now they are saying the application takes 24 to 48hrs to be processed i then asked the speak to the supervisor,she came and said the application is no longer with them it is at their escalation department for final stage however she can confirm that i qualify for R35000 credit loan but i must wait for the sms again which i can receive anything , i advised her that the item i want is on special for 1 day and i dont want to lose it and that is there no other way to check with the person dealing with my application ,she the confirmed that she escalated as they do it via email, i asked for the reference number of the call aswel as the reference number for the escalated query, she said that there is no reference, later around 5 i went back to the store they again phoned and i was given a phone to inquire same response application in the final stage an sms will come thru shortly , i then asked as to whats going to happen i i get the sms late in the evening and the store already closed they said there is nothing they can do, i then requested to cancel the application as it was no use to me since the item will be back on normal price the following day.now i get an annoying email that my application has been declined.
