Bad service

I hereby write to you to express my deepest disappointment by your Westgate store manager (Gerald/Gert).

I bought an iPhone 11 on contract and on the first use and charge it started to overheat. I went back to the store to address the issue and the shop attendants directed me to a Vodacom store next door for assistance. I did as instructed and after days of struggling to get a technician by them, they eventually took in my iPhone for assessment and diagnosis. After a week my iPhone was returned and only to be informed by the vodacom technician that no fault was detected.

I collected my iPhone and when I tried to use it, it still heats up. I returned and was told to take it back to vodacom. I asked to see the store manager but he never came to attend to me. I now want out of the contract but there’s no one to make that decision.

I have returned to game Westgate countless times but he (store manager) never and still doesn’t come to the floor to help solve my problem.

Earlier today a man from vodacom contacted me and once again suggested that I take my iPhone back to vodacom for a recheck which I did today.

My concern is all the staff cant decide on my fate since final decisions are to be made by the store manager who clearly doesn’t want to attend to me. And I am tired of the back and forth without a solid solution.

Please let me know who can assist me since your store manager seem to have better issues to attend to than his customers

I feel disrespected, disregarded, dismissed and a mere number to your business. I am disappointed by the way I have been ignored. Clearly I am a disgust, foolish, stupid and and ******** customer to your store manager.

In conclusion may you kindly help me but canceling my phone contract so that I won’t continue to be a nuisance your special store manager and business.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Your “Invisible” customer.

Hi Vinolia, thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry, your phone is not working the way it should by overheating and that you're wanting to cancel your contract. Regrettably, only the account holder can cancel a contract, and this must be done before usage of the phone. Rest assured; your query's been escalated.

With due respect guess your parents wasted their money sending you to school thus if you ever did. In your small mind how do you expect one to know if a device ain’t functional before use. Please think before you respond.

Thank you for coming back to me, Vinolia. As the phone has been used, you cannot cancel a contract and you can confirm this with the network provider, Vodacom.
