Bad Phone, Deceptive Advert, Bad Customer Service
I bought a Huawei Honor x5 plus phone from Game online store on the 20th of November 2023. I discovered after setting up the phone that it's internal memory is always accumulating junks even when the phone is not in use. You need to constantly wipe off this phone's internal memory to have enough space for basic applications. I also discovered that the phone was designed for vodacom users. However Game hid all these facts from prospective buyers in their online advert of this phone. I tried contacting their online customer care 9days after purchasing this phone. But I was told that any item bought from them cannot be returned once the package has been opened. I was told they can only offer to repair it. So also, I was told to go and get a vodacom Sim to solve the Vodacom problem. I wondered if there is any way to find out if a phone is faulty or has a vodacom software when the company did not state it in their online discription of the phone. I also wondered how reasonable is it to start repairing a phone that is less than two weeks old. I tried leaving my honest review of this phone on their website. However, I got a response from their team that my review do not meet their standards. I am using this opportunity to warn other unsuspecting customers that Game is not a truthful online store because they do not give a true description of their online products. So also, if you buy a day old phone from them and discover it is faulty they will only volunteer to repair it for you because you have opened the package. Further more, you will never be allowed to leave any honest review of their products on their website. That is why you will notice their online products rarely have any reviews unlike takealot and other reputable online shops. Please beware of Game online!
