Bad customer service and communication
On Sunday 21st January 2018, we bought a 55” (Brand not important) television from Game at Festival Mall. After paying, the television was switched on, and all seemed fine then. The Sales person assisted us by pushing the television from the stand after they put it back in the box to the car in a steel frame trolley (TV upright) where he assisted me putting it in the car with the side he said the screen was face up. We drove home which is 1.2km from the Festival Mall, took the television out and switched it on. To my frustration, the screen had lines all over… So I immediately put it back and drove to Game who now had a huge problem with doing the exchange. They came with a story of having to send it in for an assessment first and will have feedback for us the next day, Monday came and again we were told that the assessment will take 2 days. Yesterday being the second day, I phoned both Game who was not answering their calls and the Manufacturer of the Television who then advised us that they have not even received the television from Game yet. This morning I got feedback from the Manufacturer who advised that they have received the television but all the documentation was wrong and incomplete. Now when I phone for further updates on whether the correct documents have been sent, they throw down the phone in my ear. This is pathetic and no-one should be going through this. You spend so much money on a television where the staff is over friendly, but when their products are faulty, they are time consuming and not helpful at all.
