Bad customer service
Very very unhappy and disappointed in Game stores Welkom. I spent 10k on a television in November 2019. In January this year 2021 the television broke. Screen has stripes and doesn't work anymore. I returned it to Game as it has a 4 year warranty. They told me that it has to be booked in and sent away for repair, which I wasnt happy with so we reached an agreement that they will repair it locally. The floor manager on that day told the other employee that she has to phone the local repair company and arrange that they will repair the tv. I was there on a friday. The Monday I phoned them to find out what the stand is on the tv. The lady told me that they have sent an email but didn't get a response yet. I WAS TOLD THEY WILL PHONE IMMEDIATELY AND THEY DID NOT. I questioned the lady on why they didn't do it as we arranged and she said that they never said they are going to phone, she told me im wrong. That wasnt the case as she and the floor manager both told me they would phone. After a while she got really arrogant for someone working in customer service and told me that im not the only one that has broken appliances. She also told me that they have 21 days to repair the tv, so basically im without a tv for 21 days. I understand every company has red tape and I respect that but the lack of going the extra mile for ypur customers I cant respect and I really am furious by the way im being treated. A customer is what drives a business and I for one will never ever buy there again.
