Bad after sale service

Hi There, This is a complaint about the shop GAME at Cresta. About 1 1/2 Years ago we purchased a simple cupboard the exact name and make would be "MAINSTAYS Hanging Wardrobe with one Shelf" height : 160 cm / width: 75 cm / depth: 45 cm -- exclusively manufactured in China for GAME Masstores (Pty) Ltd. Reason for stipulating all this is, rather buy local manufactured goods (if that is possible at all) then this chinese and again I am going to be very rude now by saying '*******'. It really angers me every time I see that "made in china" when we have really good labour here and artistically enclined people who do excellent work but no, that is not good enough for our government here to use them and create employment! Sorry for getting carried away like this - I just wish something could or would be done about this "China-import-scenario" once and for all!! Well, having said all that, lets get back to the real problem. Material started breaking everywhere as soon as one just touched it but the worst of it was, that the cupboard started leaning more and more to one side and eventually collapsed, for no reason, I might add. The cupboard only had shirts hanging in there and on the top shelve some towels. I must mention that this cupboard was only handled (opened and touched) occasionally, since it was used as an extra hanging space. This cupboard certainly did not cost thousands of rands but the principal counts. Surely, it should have lasted another few years, or, am I completely illusional about that? I went back to GAME on Wednesday 31st July, 2019, and spoke to Given Lunga, sales manager, he calls himself. I got nowhere with him and his attitude was, shell I say, not appealing!! He told me that there is a one year guarantee and all it is, its "wear and tear"! I told him straight whether he is actually listening to himself, "wear and tear" after 1 1/2 years, not touching that piece of **** (unfortunately I cannot handle this kind of attitude, the worst is he was repeating himself nonstop about this "wear and tear". I asked him whether it is okay to give a one year guarantee and then the item can just break and collapse thereafter! I wanted to speak to the store manager but he told me that he is not available. I also told him that I would go public with this, does GAME really want this kind of publicity, I asked him, was he perturbed or one little bit concerned, of course not, he gets his money at the end of the month anyway so why to worry about this "illusional customer". I told him to return the item to the manufacturer and make him pay for the rotten goods that he is supplying, maybe next time quality will improve! Again, does GAME at all care about the people here in South Africa and their clients, being actually ********** by this ******* China-imports and, do they actually pay taxes for exporting their goodies to South Africa? Should we maybe get the famous Donald Trump here in S.A.!! Sorry, but that is how I feel, problem is I hate injustice and too many people here in this beautiful South Africa are getting hurt, and most of all the people who could do the same goodies, as mentioned above, and obviously are loosing out of having a job, sad, really sad!!!
