ASSAULT BY SECURITY FROM GAME STORE IN CRADLESTONE MALL

I am disappointed and angry at the conduct and ASSAULT by the security at the gaming section to my son. Today 18 February 2021

My son needed new batteries for his gaming controller. He went to Game to get one. After asking for the price he took the batteries but changed his mind. He didn't bring them back at the gaming section. When he was about to leave to check another store because they were pricy he was accused of theft and assaulted.

He told me when he got home and I immediately called the store. They advised me that the name of the security is Palo. The person on the phone initially didn't want to tell me his name when I said I'm going to report him.

This is ill treatment and not lawful. Right now how many people, myself included, take things from shelves and don't put them back. Do you treat each and everyone like that. Why is it different when a boy from school wanting to play games when he gets home does the same with batteries. All the security said is the reason he did what he did is because my son didn't bring the batteries back to the gaming section and doesn't know where he put them. This is INFRINGEMENT OF RIGHTS!!!! If the security said he saw him take the batteries and put them in his clothes now that is a different story altogether.

I want to report this. This Palo security guy must be dealt with with immediate effect. The fact that he showed no remorse means that it is probably not the first time he does it. All because my son took batteries and put them somewhere else gives him the right to this infringement of rights. Totally disgusting, ******** and unacceptable conduct of this security guard and must be dealt with.

I would like for you to please ESCALATE THIS matter to relevant department / management. Pure assault, infringement of rights and ABUSE!
