Appalling customer service
Game's customer service is the worst. I ordered a sleeper couch online. The photo showed a dark grey one, but when my couch arrived, it was beige. There was no option for a beige one online. I sent it back because it was not what I ordered and since I have an infant who sometimes through up, a grey couch would be much easier to clean than a beige one.
It took about two weeks for the couch to be picked up. When the courier arrived, they were unaware that it was a couch that needed to be picked up. Game simply told them to pick up a package. The courier was also unmarked, and had no form of proof that would show they picked up my couch. So for all I knew, someone sent their buddy to come pick up my couch never to be seen or heard from again. I e-mailed the person I was in contact with about the couch, but did not hear from her again. Only two days later, I received a call from a completely different person that the couch is at the warehouse. For two days, I was stressing that some random person came to pick up my couch that I paid a few thousand rands for and disappeared with it, and Game is completely silent about it.
Only a week later (18 Jan) do I again receive an e-mail again saying that the original couch I ordered is not available anymore and I need to send my banking details for a refund. It's been five days since I sent it, and I have neither received my money nor have had any response back from Game.
It does not take that long to respond to an e-mail, just saying, "Your e-mail has been received".
The first correspondence I received from Lazola was on the second of January. It's been almost a month now. This is ridiculous. But from the other reviews, I can see that this is a general Game problem. Either your staff needs to be retrained or appoint people who actually care about your customers.
