Air conditioner sold incomplete and faulty
In March I bought an air conditioner that had been marked down, as my house was being built I asked if it would be okay to buy it but only get it installed in September, when I had the installers out, provided by Game, they informed me it could not be installed as it was missing a mounting plate and cables.i took it back to the store that day and spoke to THemba Gumede, who advised me to take it home and they would arrange a collect and exchange the following week! Never happened, so I took it back for a refund the next week end, bearing in mind I live 25 km away from that store, I went to get my refund however due to the value they needed a manager, Rudy came and I explained the issue, he said he would speak to the buyer for me to see if it could be exchanged, however in the mean time, booked It in, as all I want is it to work.he said it would take 2 weeks, however I phoned the following Friday to find out what the buyer had said, Rudi said he would find out and call me back, it is now Monday, no phone call. Why sell used, incomplete stock in mark down areas, surely it must still be fit for use? Why not replace as it is clearly Games fault. Walmarts policies are not being lived.
