About a month ago, we placed our Acer tablet on charge and the next day it did not switch on. I then took the tablet to Game, which was quite a challenge without proof of purchase. I've showed the lady that the manufacturing date is printed on the unit which clearly shows the age to be less than a year. She then phoned Acer who'd agree to check on the computer whether the unit is still under warranty (good service from the lady)

Last week I got a phone call from Game with a quote for R852. I've obviously asked why and were told it is due to the lack of the proof of purchase. I've reminded them about the agreement from Acer to check on the system. Game then phoned me to say the screen is cracked and it is not covered by the warranty. Since then we've been going back and forth. The screen was not cracked and it was not being noted as cracked on the repair collection slip. Been going on for a week without getting a solution. I refuse to take the unit back in a worse condition than what it was when handed in and Game is not taking responsibility. Been in contact with store manager as well.

Please help
