Account Closure

I have been trying to close my account with game store for past week or so and I feel they are plain refusing to close my account. First the issue was my account was in credit and ask for refund. They requested bank statements and some other documents. I refuse to give them my bank statements because I didn't understand why. I swipe with debit card the money reflected on the side as well. My account was paid in full. Why not give a credit note to claim my refund. Anyway they forced me to buy so I won't lose my money. I bought at my account was nil balance and still they did close the account. I am not sure why they don't want to close the account. I have a feeling they want to charge me ridiculous account fees and claim I still owe. Please assist me hellopeter I need this account to closed.
