Abusive Treatment by Defy After Purchase from Game (Job No. ***)

Dear Game Customer Service,

I am writing to escalate a serious complaint about the abusive and degrading treatment I’ve received from Defy, following the purchase of a brand-new Defy machine from your store. This relates to Job Number: ***.

I took a full day off work on Friday, 20 June 2025, as a technician was scheduled to attend. I earn per hour — meaning I lost income to comply with Defy's appointment. The technician never showed up, never called, and ignored my calls. I have proof of this.

Then, instead of an apology, I was falsely accused of being unreachable. That is a blatant lie, and incredibly offensive. Only on Saturday afternoon did the technician try to contact me — far too late. On Sunday, another technician called again, but by then the damage was done.

Now I’m being told I must reschedule again and take more time off, just to get the service I already paid for — while being disrespected, ignored, and blamed. Defy has shown zero accountability, no apology, and no regard for my time, money, or dignity.

This treatment is not just poor service — it feels abusive. I feel like I’m being treated like trash, simply because Defy already has my money. I’m exhausted, angry, and deeply disappointed.

I am calling on Game to intervene. I request either:

A replacement of the faulty machine, or

A full refund, so I can walk away from this toxic situation.

Please do the right thing and help resolve this urgently.

Sincerely, Nothando Ntuli Job Number: ***
