utterly disappointing service and claim experience

So I've been with Galileo Risk for just over two years, paid then diligently every months and honestly they are not the cheapest insurance in the market. Instead of going for cheaper options I opted to stay with them. I figured they must be quite pleasant to deal with given tht the only time I used their drive me home service was quite diligent. Until I got into an accident and lodged a claim. Firstly no one knew who was handling my case since everytime I call I'm referred to a different person. Then I call, enquire am told I'll get a call back, I hear nothing literally HD to pester everyday. Then eventually Carin takes on my case three weeks later, I'm thinking finally I'll get this sorted. She asked me to get quotes then arrange for an assessment I do that, take the car in then again for three days I hear nothing. I phone in she tells me she told me after the assessment I'm good to go when she said after the assessment she will get the report then get back to me. Very arrogantly by the way like I'm the crazy one and she doesn't get what I'm saying. I let it go then I'm like way forward she says the repairers will phone me to book the car in. Then I hear nothing for another 3 days until I call and ask for the number of the panel beaters. I arrange for my car to be booked in then I ask about car hire. She tells me she arranges everything I must just tell her when I'm booking the car and she will get the Car hire people to meet me there, as discussed I get an email confirming she did the booking. As agreed 24 hours later little old me goes to the panel beaters, I phone her she says all is sorted and gives me the Avis number. I phone and they tell me that cars will only be dip arched later in the day. So my question to Carin was ok how do you tell me all is arranged, then Avis tells me cara are dispatched after 3? Her blissful response is well I can't intervene in Avis arrangements with you. I'm like what arrangements because you told me you sorts everything out then now she says Avis was supposed to call them so I should have followed up in advance. I'm like firstly you didn't tell me this was the process in your email you said all was sorted, arrogantly again she says well I didn't know you didn't know that's how it worked I'm like how was I supposed to know if you didn't inform me. So little old me is now stuck with no car and now I have to make a plan to get home after dropping the car. Yoh I just hope I don't have any more issues and my car gets properly fixed and hopefully this car rental will materialize. I'm utterly disappointed in the treatment and service received. I think it's time I shop around, any recommendations of an insurer who gives you value for money tht once in a while when you claim?
