Paid for service not delivered

<p>I arranged a year end bowling function with Lynda 3 weeks in advance and paid the full amount that was supposed to include bowling, platters and welcome drinks for 15 people. The welcome drinks and platters were never ordered and the lady on duty (Chichi) had to make an alternative arrangement on the night. The platters arrived more than an hour into the function and didn't even resemble anything that we ordered and no provision was made for our vegetarian guest, as requested. I have contacted both Sharon and Lynda, insisting on a refund for the food portion of the booking - I have not had the courtesy of a reply from either of them. Will have to look for assistance in terms of the Consumer Protection Act... I definitely won't leave this issue here!</p>
