Bad experience

Today’s experience at Galata in Boksburg reminded me how important cultural education is. We were accused of consuming alcohol in a halal restaurant and chased out instead of being respectfully addressed. Understanding different cultures should bring us together, not divide us.

We were approached by the manager, he didn't even mention his name. So we got kicked out of the restaurant and also out the premises at night while it was raining. Three Young black girls in their twenties at this day and age in the streets at night. #GBV
