Disgusted at Gaia Waldorf School

Firstly never put your child into Gaia Waldorf School in Pinelands - Private School, Cape Town. When the Covid Pandemic hit South Africa we all were sent home to work and do schooling and just to note there was no online teaching at all i was shocked beyond believe and note that we all had to pay full school fees at Gaia. At once stage i was only getting 30% of my salary when going to the school and asking if we could do a payment arrangement we were told NO so it got to a point that we needed to get our kid into a Government school which i know is difficult given the last minute. At that time we started looking not thinking that my kid will get accepted which she did so we gave notice and also went to see them to explain to Gaia that working with less salary we can not afford to keep our kid in Gaia Waldorf and was told we signed the contract and we must give a terms notice which i do understand but given that the whole world went through Covid most people loosing their jobs and some working short time I feel that give and you take its not like they are going to teach my kid for another term and i am not going to pay. Well to cut a long story short they have handed us over and we have a judgement against our name. This school is disgusting wanting to come off all Holistic but cant hear you out and understand that the whole world went through the Pandemic we never skipped a payment ever, so they wanted us to pay over R14K and we had to pay school fees at the new school so please understand my anger. On another note the school fees are super expensive R5K up and there is a 1 man made swing which the children must fight over and not safe at all, I once asked them if they could raise the vibracrete i was told that there is no money wow for the safety of the children, I am about 1.2m very short and i could ***** a child over the vib. Oh and not to mentioned the old and dingy toilets and classrooms for that money don't waste your time. So please pass this message on to save yourself or anyone else that is looking to put their child into Gaia Waldorf School.
