Disappointed

On the 17th April, I ordered a solar inverter/UPS from Gadgetshub. Despite the indication being ETA of 2-3 days, I had still not received the UPS on the 26th April and tried to phone on the contact number provided, without success. I sent emails, and made contact on WhatsApp. I thankfully received a reply on WhatsApp later on same day saying that there was no supply of the item and I would receive a full refund. My banking details were requested. No refund had been received by the 1st May so I made enquiry once more and on the 2nd May, I was told that my account number was invalid (not sure why nobody had tried to contact me to inform me prior to my having to contact them). I then provided the corrected account number, expecting forthcoming reimbur*****t. It is now a few weeks down the line and , despite numerous attempts at getting hold of Gadgetshub, having success only once and being reassured that the refund would be made, I am still waiting. I purchased another UPS from another supplier in the interim and really need the refund to balance out this additional expenditure-R3000 is not to be sniffed at. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service and integrity and will not be encouraging anyone to purchase from Gadgetshub in the future.
