Gadget Time Cape Gate Refusing Refund and Ignoring Ombud Complaint

I have been dealing with Gadget Time Cape Gate Mall for months regarding defective Baseus Eli Sport 1 earbuds.

The unit was confirmed defective and still under warranty, but Gadget Time refuses to give me a refund. Instead, they only want to replace it with the same model.

Wayne Assur from Gadget Time told me telephonically that this model is being removed from the market due to multiple issues. I do not accept being forced to take the same product again when there are known issues with it.

After I requested a refund, Gadget Time stopped responding to my emails and follow-ups.

The matter has now been escalated to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, and Gadget Time is still not resolving the matter.

Very disappointing after-sales service from Gadget Time Cape Gate.
