Awfully tasting Gaby's Earth Foods mixed nuts

I bought a 1 kg packet of Gaby's Roasted and Salted mixed nuts at Dischem (Herm****) a few days ago. This must have been the most awfully tasted nuts I've ever consumed. Even though the label on the packed indicated that the contents are still well within the "best before date", the nuts had a very bitter and stale taste. So bad that the nuts can't be eaten. It was clear that the quality of the nuts were extremely bad and then that some other ingredients may have been used in the nuts which makes it inedible. What's even more disappointing is that I mailed the customer contact email on the packet and Gaby's Earth Foods did not even bother to reply..

Secondly, their “mixed nuts” packet actually contains a product which is not a nut, being peanuts. This is not at made visible on the front cover of the packet, only in small text at the back of the packet (8%). As such customers are being misled by selling the product as mixed nuts, which it is not. Reasoning is obviously to make more profit, by adding a much cheaper product to the more expensive nuts (gain weight to make up the 1kg). Not a good business practice at all and robbing the customers.

My advice as such; don't buy nuts from Gaby's Earth Foods, rather support companies selling quality products and and companies who are serious about being honest and by that be more considerate towards their customers
