Unhappy about product!

Bought a pair of shoes for R2199...washed them in cold water and the included sachet in the box...The main colour washed out and changed the shoe completely. What frustrates me the most is that the store won't take it back - I was told about how the product is raw and they cannot accept it back. Meanwhile their slip says something totally different "stating that the product can be returned within 6 months if it is defective". I am not a happy customer!
