Do not use this plumbing company

Our geyser burst and the insurance company assigned the job to G Hulme Building Construction. They came to replace the geyser on 3 May 2025. After completion the plumber ensured us that we can call if we suspect any problems and an inspection will be done within a week or two and a COC will be issued. On the 6th of May I informed them that something is not right with the geyser as water were running out at more than 20l per day. They apologised and said they will speak to the insurance company. On the 16th I followed up on my report of the 6th. I was told that the problem can be fixed privately as the insurance will not pay for the additional valves, the cost will be R3500. To me this is admitting that the geyser was not installed correctly in the first place, as they knew exactly what to quote for. After speaking to another plumbing company they confirmed that the installation was not done correctly and they fixed the problem, installing the valves at a cost of R1825 and the problem is solved.
