Unauthorized work done on my car

Good day
Yesterday 30 June 2015, i booked my car for a 60000km service. 10:56am i got a call to ask for permission to repair a chip on my windscreen, i agreed.
12:31pm, my service advisor Anwar calls me to inform me about the work to be done and its costs, he also asks to replace my wipers and headlight globe. I decline the globe and ask him to proceed with the service and wipers. The required work will cost R1600, i approve and he proceeds.

16:30 when i arrive at GM to pick up my car, he presents the bill to me - R4589.30. Shocked i ask what happened to the R1600 he had said, he says no, its R4600 not R1600.
Now had he told me during our 1 minute conversation at 12:30 that the service requires him to change spark plugs, filter asm, pass com (don't even know what that is), another filter, filter fuel- i would have declined. but he didn't do this and i was forced to pay for work i hadn't asked for.
Furthermore, he couldn't even be bothered to explain what work was done on my car. i was given my invoice, i paid and was shown to my car.

I'm not one to make a scene but believe me when i say that you will never see me again at your dealership if this is how customers are treated.
