Service delivery is non existent where senior citizens are concerned

Our journey started in March with the above establishment (Fury Woodmead) after our vehicle was with the Keygroup in Pietermaritzburg from 15 January 2018 to March 2018 who could not repair our vehicle giving an excuse that they can't source an engine due to GM (General Motors) pulling out of South Africa. They came back with an estimate of R300000.00 requesting us to pay R150000.00 has we had missed a service in 2017 and therefore only half a guarantee remaining on the vehicle. Having bought the said vehicle (Chev Trailblazer 2.8) cash from Fury Sandton in 2014, we decided to contact them who has become Fury Woodmead now. We had to pay Keygroup R10000.00 to release the vehicle and pay R10000.00 to have it brought to Johannesburg. Fury Woodmead agreed to repair it for a R100000.00 which later went up to almost R116000.00, (Bear in mind we are an old couple (82 years old) We had no choice but to find the money. Keygroup should have only charged us R5000.00 seeing it was still half guarantee remaining. Be were done in by both establishments. When we got the car back from Fury Woodmead 31st May 2018 we found that the bonnet was damaged when the new engine and had to be repaired and spray painted . We had to wait for a time suitable for them before this could be done, that said it took them 5 days to have it done. We collected the car after being notified we can collect it, as we got home we were contacted and advised it was not completely done yet. Upon returning the car the Monday morning we were told that it would the ready at 2 o'clock the same day,but after calling them on 3 occasions was told at 4 o'clock the car will be ready the following morning which is Tuesday. At 11 Tuesday we got a call the car will be finished at 2 which came and went. I called at 3 to find out if we are still getting the car seeing it was past 3 already. When we collected the car eventually the maintenance manager was nowhere to be seen. The car keys were handed to us by one of the staff members who did not even bother to come out to see if we were happy with the car. We are extremely unhappy with the overall service with both establishments and would like to bring it to the attention of all consumers dealing with the said companies.
