No Consideration For People's Property

This review is directed at The Glen Volkswagen (not verified on Hello Peter)

I took my car into vw the glen on 12/05/2016 for a oil change service. I drove in with my music playing on loud as I have a sound system in my car. I then returned to pick my car up and as I put my radio on before I left, I heard that my one speaker sounded distorted, which wasn't the case before I left it there. To top it off, my subwoofers were wet, as well as the back board where my 6x9s are connected. Called the manager, who did not even introduce himself, and let him listen and asked what he is going to do about it. He even felt with his own hand that my things were wet and he had the audacity to lie to my face, saying they do not allow the guys to put the clients radio on and vw had a campaign to replace my cam belt and radio knobs for the polo tsi's. Now this manager tells me they did not even out my radio on, whereas everybody knows that in order to see if the radio knobs are working, it needs to be put on to test it. Another thing is, I had 670kms left to drive, when I got my car back, it was on 620kms. My car was parked further away from the dealership for some odd reason. I understand that they needed to drive it in order to test the cam belt but to burn through 50kms of fuel is rather inconsiderate. When I told all these things to the manager, all he could tell me is "aaah well, it's not my problem. Sorry". I asked him if he were a customer and left his car for a service and came to collect it and saw there is something broken, how would he feel? His words were that he would not even complain. How can someone lie like that? They broke my speaker and it's like shame. Not even coming up with solutions to solve the issue just shame and sorry there is nothing they can do, which is not good enough. The first time I took my car there, they scratched the material of my subwoofers, complained to them about it and to this day, no assistance and no reply to my emails, nothing. Yet again, another incident and it's just money I must now spend and the managers attitude was really poor, as if he just wanted to go home and not help. No compassion for the customer at all. I will compliment the internal staff who were wonderful and really give great customer service.

Thank you
