Poor Quality control Mazda South Africa
I purchased my Mazda CX3 in October 2019. It is still under warranty. I am a single household and therefore I am the only one who drives my vehicle. The mileage on my vehicle is 32000km. Still new right. It even still has that faint lingering of a new car smell to it. In May 2021 the left wheel bearing needed to be replaced. Recently the drive shaft needed to be replaced and now the left wheel bearing needs to be replaced again. I should not be experiencing these kinds of issues on a brand new vehicle with low mileage. The service however has been absolutely shocking. I have had to constantly follow up on progress with each repair. Recently when I took my vehicle in for the drive shaft, a week went by without any word from the Jhb South branch (where I purchased my vehicle) until I called in to follow up, turns out they didn't even log the request with Mazda SA. Suddenly there was a need for photos (a week later???) with the left wheel bearing im told the part is on backorder and will only arrive in May - and I am just supposed to accept this sub standard service on after sale service for a vehicle I paid a premium for???? I'm so sick and tired of lethargic customer service. This is the only vehicle I have and use to get around (yes I am aware that I am privileged to just own a vehicle) however, using it daily for the next month to drive an average of 200km per week is not only putting me and my vehicle at risk but also other road users. My tyre could seize at any moment and I could have an accident. If that happens, I hope Mazda South Africa is sued for this. I've called branches on my own to find out of there is stock, I've tweeted about it and im just not getting help.
