Selling stock that I paid a deposit on.

Went to Furniture Mart to buy a bed, headboard with Side pedestals and a TV Wall Unit. They did not have the Bed and Headboard in stock and had to order it, they had the TV unit but we decided to come back and pick up everything once the other 2 items have arrived. We paid 50% deposit to get the Furniture ordered 2 weeks later we got confirmation that the bed and headboard arrived, but unfortunately the Wall unit that we ordered has been sold and new stock is still being shipped (Did not want to know how long that would take).

I have no idea what the point of the deposit was, if they just sold the unit that we wanted.

When the bed arrived, the base was damaged and had to be stopped with the on show unit base. Not the service I require when trying to build my perfect home.
