i had a lay bye with this shop for a leather couch R16.998 when i went to collect they

asked me to pay the balance which was supposed to be R6000 only i paid that amount they refused to give me the couchi claiming i owe them R2988.00 i paid again that amount. Then they released the couch i then called them we reconciled my proof of payment it was found i paid R2000 extra now for me to be called and be paid back my refund is a problem. Please advise way forward am really irritated and not willing to be calling on follow up. please let me know
