Laybye Cancellation

I did a laybye of R21000 online in July 2024 and I decided to buy the same items through payflex. After paying off payflex I then cancelled the laybye. The store is refusing to refund the laybye they forcing me to buy with it. I don't understand because the laybye period was 6 months and I cancelled in 3 months??? I'm m not getting any help with this
