Bad service
On 08 February 2020 I took out a laybye with furniture liquidations warehouse in Johannesburg crown mines for couches. The total selling price for the couches was R16 438. I paid a deposit of R3000 then paid R1500 on the 30 May 2020.Then on the 20 June 2020 I went to pay the remaining R11 938 and that's when the problem started. The consulted refused to take my payment and she said I have to come back on Monday and the manager will explain to me. I was confused and I asked to speak to that manager and I was told he is not in the store, I then requested to speak to the second in charge and there was no one, they I requested them to call the manager and they told he is not answering his phone. I left the store frustrated and disappointed. I came back on Monday and the manager was still not available, then the consultant tells me that the couches I have on laybye are out of stock and they were never reserved for me at the warehouse when I made the laybye and the consultant who initially helped me is now on maternity leave. The consultant who was now helping me showed me alternative couches available that I could take and they will be delivered the very same day. I opted for them because I was now desperate. I went home and waited for the delivery and they just didn't deliver and no one from the store bothered to call me just to explain why. The service in that store sucks, they don't value their clients and the only thing they care about is making sales and taking customer's money.
