money owed

My client bought goods from them in October 2015 amd to date goods not delivered. They have promised to refund the money in January after the client has called to find out when goods will be delivered and they said they wont be able to make them, and they will refund, to date they havent evem refunde. The clients lawyers intervened and even afet that they still dont pay. The client is now having to sue for their own money. What company owes people and sti doesnt pay them back when they dont meet their obligation. Anyone who wants to buy from them, please dont even bother. They are ****** once sue they will be singing in my time, i hear is a family business, but they are really not legitimate if they can withhold peoples money without paying thwm knowing exactly they owe them and didnt meet the contract.
