No details allowed to be given for the owner

I purchased a free standing shelved cupboard that was delivered a couple of weeks ago. The first time I locked the door I could not open it. I went into one of the branches. Shereen, at Value Centre branch tried to assist by getting in touch with the manufacturer but they could not come out to assist. They are closed over the festive period. I was told to force the door open. That annoyed me terribly. I then contacted Samantha at the Brackenfell branch where I purchased the cupboard for assistance and the owner's contact details, she advised that they are not allowed to give out that information. I cannot understand how any business owner wouldn't want to know of problems that could affect his/her business. Poor manufacturing is not an option in my books. I want proper service this is shocking there are important documents locked in the cupboard that I require by Tuesday. Very disgruntled customer.
