Rude and unapproachable staff

I phoned to make a reservation for my mothers birthday. I knew beforehand that the restaurant has a family atmosphere and alot of bustle. Not a problem. However i did request if they could reserve a corner quiter table for me. The lady on the phone became very uptight and said the restaurant is very noisy and they do have a party. Her approach was very rude and agro. I ignored this and did not make it an issue but very politely tried to expalin that it was ok but if she could than please reserve a corner table for me as it was my mums birthday. She didnt wait for me to finish my sentence and rudely said we dnt do that and put the phone down. I was not going to argue if this was the restaurants policy it was ok and i was not going to call back and let it go. However this lady made it such a big issue. She called back and told me they cant offer what i wanted and i must go eat somewhere else. I put the phone down as she was so rude. I called back and asked to speak to a manager. She said there is no such thing here and started shouting at me for putting down the phone. i tried to be nice but this woman was crazy. This is pathetic and unaccepable service. Train your staff.
