Stay away from funseekers, they will rip you off!!!

<p>My father took out time shares in 2008 and signed for 5 years. He is a pensioner now and cannot afford the instalments anymore. He tried to cancel the timeshares and was told that he had to pay the full premiums for 2016 and 2017 and then they will send the application to management for review and determine a cancellation fee. Come on!! The signed agreement was for 60 months (5 years) and he paid for over 5 years. He still has points due to him so I don’t see that he owes them anything. Can someone please advise what you can do in a situation like this? He is VERY stressed as he cannot afford it anymore and his wife was diagnosed with cancer last year and the medical bills are very high.</p> <p>I would advise anyone before taking out timeshares with Funseekers, to get everything on writing as the customer service consultants are VERY rude.</p> <p>I would advise anyone NOT to do business with them as they are ripping poor old people off!!</p>
