Eduloan breach of student loan commitment
Good day I've been provisionally approved for funding for 2016. This application has been ongoing since February and Edu-Loan has since changed (reduced) the loan offered thrice while increasing the installments without explaining why this is the case. The consultant just dumps an e-mail with the updated/new loan amount each time not bothering to explain. The University now wants the 1st invoice settled on Monday and yet we are waiting for this never-ending constantly changing application while being sent pillar to post by the call centre agents. This is no different to the former regime which denied student’s rights to education. Not every student has close proximity or access to resources and funding. Yet again my studies are pending because someone is failing to do basic admin duties and atleast update on the status of funding/the application. I am waiting having already had to defer my modules because Edu-Loan will not have decency to give a solid and tangible response.
