Fullserv is unprofessional

On the 25th of September I started my training with the company Fullserve in Parktown(training for Yalu insurance),I wrote all the assessments and passed.The training took a week the following week I started working on the main floor where I had to start making my sales.The HR lady called me told me I can't sign my contract without giving her my grade 12 certificate (of which I gave them my statement of results instead cause my certificate was lost)They did not have a problem with my statements of results when they interviewed me.They told me to go home and only come back when I have certificate.What hurts me is that I went for training,passed my tests even did my biometric,and I was excited that I got a job only to be told that I should go home.They should have told me from day one during interview to fix my documents but I was misleaded.Full Serv should compasate me with my transport money Ive waisted going to their offices for Nearly two weeks.What they did is so unprofessional.Someone please tell me if this is fair?
