Fuller Civils "we walk the talk" - staff bus, causes accident

On 12 March 2022 this Company's Staff Bus and we were in an accident. It happened the afternoon in Charl Cilliers's petrol station. The staff bus was parked, we were driving on our way to the petrol station when they reversed into us. The driver stated that he did not see us and gave rather full co-operation during the statement that was given at the police station.

We contacted the company after that and the lady that helped us said that our insurance should do the accident claim and we can claim back from their insurance. But in order to claim through our insurance - King Price, we have to pay an excess of R5500. I feel it is unfair because we did not cause the accident, their insurance should do the cover and we should not pay a cent.

If we claim and pay the excess, we can claim it back from them but it can take up to a year! I feel the company should take responsibility and make sure they sort our vehicle out!
